A class action lawsuit was filed in Pennsylvania on behalf of men who used low testosterone therapies that led to illness such as stroke, heart attack, and other heart issues.

The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania by a man who allegedly suffered a heart attack as the result of using Depo Testosterone and AndroDerm for the period of several years. The lawsuit, McGill, et ux. v. Actavis Inc., et al., No. 2:14-2177, was filed in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, according to LawyersandSettlements.com

There are many defendants named in the case, including: Pfizer Inc., Pharmacia & Upjohn Co., Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc., and Actavis Inc.

The lawsuit makes many allegations, including that the manufacturers of Depo Testosterone and AndroDerm implemented an aggressive campaign to alert men that they could be suffering from low testosterone. As a result, the number of men diagnosed went through the roof.
